What can I say about the Tennessee Elite? Well let me start by saying that they are beyond amazing. On New Years Eve I attended one of their lifestyle parties held in Knoxville, TN and had the time of my life!

First of all the hotel was gorgeous and they had a large number of guest, a good size dance floor and a wonderful DJ. There were also some tasty finger foods available which I thought was a great addition.

We recently attended a party at PJ's near Cookeville, TN. It was about a two hour drive from our home but PJ's we wanted to try something different.

The club is really a country home in a very secluded area. Even though we thought we were going to end up on some dead end country road the house is really not that far from the interstate.

On your way to the club you pass through some beautiful country and a very unique little village called Red Boiling Springs. There is a bed and breakfast there but we chose to just go to the club first and see what they recommended for lodging.

Couples and single ladies can just drop in for the parties but single men must call ahead first between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM (right I said AM) Monday through Friday only. I appreciate this requirement since it means that any single males at the party have been interviewed beforehand and are not just making a last minute decision to drop in. We had not called ahead and the owner had no idea that we would be reviewing his club during our visit.

As we drove up the private road my first impression of the house was that it was smaller than we had pictured but this proved to be deceptive after we were inside. Cars were parked on the grass behind the house but there was plenty of space. My husband dropped me off near the steps to the deck at the entrance since I was wearing heels and it would be hard to walk on the grass. We entered through the kitchen door where we were greeted by a very personable lady. Guests are to leave their alcohol on the counter (it is BYOB). The donation is $25 for couples (single ladies are free and single men are $50) and, since we had not been there before, had to sign some release forms and read the rules. Then we were given a tour of the club.

The club consists of two floors. Upstairs is the kitchen with a dining table, a small living room with a very comfortable couch and some chairs, a standard home type bathroom with a sink, shower, commode and clean towels just off the living room and two bedrooms down the hall from the bathroom. Both bedrooms had queen size beds but the first bedroom was rather small. The second bedroom was a bit larger and there was a third bedroom door which we were told was not for guests since this house is where our hosts live during the week. The owners have been hosting parties at this location for over 10 years.

We went down the stairs into a medium sized dance room complete with mirrors where the music was already going and a few people were standing around. Also there is a back porch in addition to the deck at the entrance and these, together with the dance floor are the only places smoking is allowed. There is also a massage area and setups to mix drinks and snacks are provided. Mostly this is pretzels and chips with dip. We had brought our own mixers but could probably have made do with what was provided.

After our tour we decided to go back upstairs, fix some drinks and I went to the bathroom. My husband sat in the living room to wait for me.

Even though we had arrived early by some other club's standards we had been told that most of their regular guests arrive early and leave early because it was necessary to drive a few miles to any motel in the area. The advertised hours are from 7:00 PM to "whenever". We had arrived at 8:15 PM so this appeared to be the full party.

While my husband was waiting he told me two other couples arrived and appeared to be regulars. Also one more single man arrived.

After I came back we went downstairs to the dance area. The upstairs is rather brightly lighted but the dance area is dimly lit with the appropriate dance floor lighting. In the small space the music seemed a little loud but the other people didn't seem to mind. There were two other couples and two single men standing around talking. The two women were dressed in sexy outfits but all of the men seemed to be wearing normal, casual attire and jeans. One even had on a logo t-shirt and what looked like work jeans and boots. It seemed like a rather small group. We listened to the music for a few minutes but decided to look around a little on our own.

As we were exploring we found two more couples in the massage room. Clothing is optional inside the house and these couples were nude. One woman was receiving a massage from the other three. She seemed to be enjoying it. Both of the women in the massage room had removed their clothing but the men were both full clothed.

We found another couple on the back porch smoking. We struck up a conversation and found that they were regulars. We asked if this was the usual size crowd and they said that it was slow that night. According to the man Friday nights were usually slower and the Saturday night crowds were much larger. (We had deliberately chosen Friday night because they allow single males.) We talked for a while and then they asked if we would like to join them on the dance floor. As we were walking to the dance area I reached up and adjusted the collar on my husband's shirt. This is my signal that I really don't want to do anything with this couple.

We danced, the four of us, for a couple of songs and then excused ourselves to go refill our drinks then we went back upstairs. When we entered the well lit kitchen it seem very bright after the darker dance area.

We went to the kitchen and my husband gave me my drink which I downed in one gulp and then, handing my glass to him I motioned for another. He fixed me a second drink which I also chugged with a single bend of my elbow. We watched a scene on the kitchen table for a little while after my husband fixed me another drink which I sipped slowly.

I enjoyed watching the people in the kitchen but noticed that there were some people in the living room so we walked in there, both of us completely without clothes by now. In the living room was a rather attractive young couple. We struck up a conversation and found out that this was their first time at PJ's. They had seen some of the advertising online and had thought they would try it out.

In the living room I struck up a conversation with an older man who was very polite. He said I was very beautiful and wondered if I would go to one of the bedrooms with him. He was so sweet and polite and I thought it might be fun, it was so cute the way he asked.

We had not been to the Tennessee Social Club before but some people we met in Atlanta told us about it so when we found ourselves in Nashville on a Friday night we decided to check out the party.

The club is easy to find and is located close to downtown Nashville. It was a very short cab ride from our hotel just off of Church Street. The cab driver had no problems even though we had carefully printed out the address all we had to say was "the social club" and he knew exactly where to go.

I had called ahead and talked with the manager about writing a review of their club for TheSwingersConnection.com but it is not necessary for couples to call before going.

Of course, Tennessee Social Club is a private club so new members are required to fill out some forms and agree to the rules of the club when you arrive. You also pay your fees at that time. The fees are quite reasonable only $40 for a couple with a special $10 one day membership.

The woman a the registration desk said that she would give us a tour of the club later if we would like and directed us to the downstairs where the bar and dance floor is. She explained that they have a cash (or credit card) bar downstairs.

The Social Club has been in business for over 30 years but this is its third location. We found the place to be very relaxing with a nice size dance floor and a long bar for socializing. Since arrived about 10:30 on a Friday night I was afraid we would be a little early but we found about 6 couples and 3 or 4 single guys already in the bar.

The owner told us that Friday and Saturday nights were usually very busy. I ask him about about the Wednesday and Thursday night parties since this is something most clubs do not offer and he said they were slower but good nights for couples who are looking for single guys.

The dance area has a great set up and feel to it. There is a long bar with plenty of space and a really friendly bartender. There are also plenty of tables around the dance floor for couples to sit.

We went to the bar and ordered our drinks and found a table near the dance floor. The DJ played a good mix of dance music and seemed to know exactly which tracks to play to get people out of their seats and up on the dance floor.

By the time we had a couple of drinks the place was really starting to fill up. Most of the tables were taken and there were a lot of people who didn't have a place to sit. I would suggest arriving early if you want a table.

I was wearing a blue, mid-calf length dress and heels. My companion was wearing a black double breasted suit with a maroon turtle neck shirt. Most of the other clientèle were dressed much more casually. The girls seemed to favor normal casual street wear, a top with jeans however a few were wearing short skirts. No one else seemed to be wearing high heels. Most of the men were also wearing jeans and collared shirts. A few of the men were wearing shirts and slacks which made them look much more appealing just like the skirts on the ladies caused me to notice them more. I would suggest you dress more casually for this club, especially on Friday nights.

A few of the women, most of them about my age, were getting out on the dance floor but most of the dancing that early seemed to be rather PG for a swingers club.

I will say that the DJ was great. He was able to bring the ladies out on the dance floor and each time he played a track you would think that he could not make the music more compelling but the next track would bring more excitement to the room.

This was a very good DJ. I watched as people, mostly women dancing with each other, would finish a dance and go to their table, grab a quick drink, and hurry back on the dance floor because the next track being played was so exciting.

My companion held out his hand silently asking if I would like to dance. Well I love to be watched and I knew we would stand out on the dance floor so, of course, I obliged.

I rarely wear panties and never under a evening dress so as we danced my companion pulled my dress up higher and higher as I ground my hips and my crotch in to his leg.

I knew I was flashing my butt and that was the whole idea. This is why I never go to a club wearing slacks or jeans. Give me a skirt or dress any day.

After we danced we had another drink. More and more people had arrived and the bar area was getting pretty crowded. So far no one had caught my eye except one girl, part of a couple, but she and her escort were talking with another couple and the opportunity never arose to ask her to dance. Shortly after I noticed her they left for one of the play rooms with another couple.

There was also a single guy I noticed at the bar. He was wearing jeans but he also had on a western shirt and cowboy boots. He looked like a real cowboy and could have been the Marlboro man except he was short, only 5'9", and had a very fair, almost baby, face.

I made the excuse of going to the bar in order to step up near him. I said hi and soon we were in a conversation.

He was really a cowboy! The bull riding championships were in town that weekend. He had heard about the club from someone at the arena so he had come by cab to see what it was like.

He had never been to a swingers club before and said he didn't know how things worked. I told him pretty much the same as any night club and to just relax and have fun.

I flirted, ladies you know what I mean, with him for a few minutes and told him I would like to talk some more with him but I needed to look around the club a little in order to do my review. I asked if he would like to join us while we took our tour of the upstairs.

My companion told the manager that we were ready to see the rest of the club and he asked one of the women on staff to show us the upstairs.

It was not as crowded as the bar. In fact, upstairs there were hardly any people. I thought, at first, I was the only female there.

There were 3 guys standing outside the door to one room. One guy was coming out of the door zipping up his pants and one of the 3 went in unzipping his pants. The cowboy next to me was just looking at the scene before us with such a look of wonder that I almost had to laugh.

Our guide took us to the door of that room and the guys stepped aside so we could go in and look. We walked in and it was a rather large, long room with a very good collection of bondage equipment on the walls. There was also a sex swing hanging from the ceiling. A woman was in the swing. She had a blindfold on. Her hands were tied to the straps and her feet tied to the stirrups with bright, soft looking, red ribbons. On we went on with the tour.

On the other side of the hall was a large play room with no door and lots of beds covering almost the entire floor. There were two women and a man on one corner at the back of that room.

There were also two couples side by side in the other corner of the room. In the front of the room right next to where we were standing two women with two menwatching.

In the front of the building there a small video room with couches. There were about 8 to 10 men and 3 girls in there watching porn. Two of the girls were making out and the other girl was watching the screen with her boyfriend. There was also a small play room with a door that closed right off the video room.

As with any swinger club your level of involvement in any activities is strictly up to you and "No means No" but I always like to enjoy myself where ever I go.

I would highly recommend the Tennessee Social Club to both couples and singles alike. I found everyone to be polite and the staff was the greatest. They are always nearby and very helpful. I really felt totally safe there.

For you ladies going to a club for the first time this is an excellent choice whether you are going alone or with an escort. All the ladies will find an opportunity satisfy their desires whether you are looking for single men, some special time with another couple, just want to watch people having fun or just want to see what the lifestyle is all about.

I know I am going back the next time I am in Nashville.

Sex as a selling point for mass-market vacations has been on the rise in recent years (just think of Las Vegas' hugely successful "What happens here stays here" campaign). But even so, the Caribbean voyage organized last year by Yolo Cruises came as a shock to many in the industry.

The start-up company, whose name derives from the phrase "you only live once," heralded the cruise as the first on a major ship aimed at swingers -- people who embrace non-monogamous sexual experiences. Now the company is planning a second such voyage, and controversy already is swirling. Is this a concept that's here to stay?

Q: Some people were stunned by the news a company was planning a cruise for swingers. Others were outraged. Were you surprised by the reaction?

A: No, fortunately not. I understand that people who are not familiar with the (swingers) Lifestyle are easily disturbed by the idea. What speaks louder than a few harsh words was the outpouring of support from the Lifestyle community to make YOLO Cruises a success, (as well as) sailing with 1,800 passengers aboard.

A: No, I can honestly say not for one moment. The energy and encouragement within the Lifestyle (community) truly showed me they wanted this cruise to become reality.

Q: What had led you to start up YOLO cruises?

A: It was an idea that stemmed from leisure vacations in general. There are gay cruises, lesbian cruises and so why not Lifestyle cruises? Once the research was completed, we knew we had a viable venue to sell and the determination to brand ourselves as the first ever Lifestyle cruise charter.

Gallery visitors must pass through the dimly-lit swingers club

A sex club has moved into an art gallery with the stated aim of helping visitors to a Gustav Klimt exhibition confront their sexual inhibitions.

The Secession, a contemporary art venue in Vienna, has incorporated the club, named Element6, as part of a project by Swiss artist Christoph Buechel.

A spokesman said Buechel hoped to spark a scandal similar to when Klimt's Beethoven Frieze was exhibited in 1902.

"By abusing artistic freedom, the significance of Austria as a country of culture and of Vienna as a cultural capital is being dragged in the mud," said local Freedom Party politician Gerald Ebinger.

The city of Duncanville wants a judge to declare the Cherry Pit swingers club a public nuisance and close it down.

Jim Trulock, who runs the club in his home, sued the city Dec. 12 over a new ordinance that bans sex clubs. Duncanville filed its answer Monday and countersued Mr. Trulock.

On weekends, the 59-year-old and his partner, 29-year-old Julie M. Norris, turn their home near Cedar Ridge Drive and Interstate 20 into the Cherry Pit, where guests can mingle, dance and have sex.

The City Council unanimously adopted the ordinance in November. City officials say they were acting in response to complaints about the Cherry Pit.

The ordinance classifies sex clubs as a public nuisance. City officials also contend that the Cherry Pit is an unlicensed sexually oriented business operating in a residential area. Mr. Trulock denies that the club is a business; he has said he accepted donations but didn't have a cover charge.

Mr. Trulock's "use of the premises as a sex club is detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the city of Duncanville," the city's filing says. Mr. Trulock "does not have any policy or measures in place to safeguard against the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, and thus the activities at the premises pose a risk to the public health."

Mr. Trulock's attorney, Ed Klein, said the city is trying to regulate private acts in a private home. The ordinance violates his client's privacy and due process rights, he said.

Mr. Klein also contends that the ordinance is so broad and vague that it could criminalize the sexual behavior of almost everyone in Duncanville.

The owners of an "adult nightclub" at Woolloongabba have hit back at news reports referring to them as a "swingers' club".

Owners Bryan and Leesa Horn have submitted an application with the Brisbane City Council to operate their sex-on-premises club, Couples International.

"We're very happy with our relationship with the council; and it was council who decided to use the word 'nightclub' for the venue," Mr Horn said.

Mr Horn said the couple was working to dissolve the "mythical stereotype" that surrounded the idea of a sex-on-premises club.

The club is designed like a regular nightclub, with a dance floor and bar, but with separate rooms that couples can use to participate in sex, he said.

It is housed in a converted tile showroom, not a garage, as has been reported.

Strict rules apply to all visitors to the club, he said, with any rule-breakers removed immediately and not allowed to return.

"The focus of the club is somewhere adults can go to be adult," Mr Horn said.

"Of the people that come, 15-20 per cent do 'play' (have sex) there - most of our visitors come and have a look and have a chat and go home," he said.

Mr Horn described some of the club's visitors as "small-s swingers".

As such, fly you solo or partnered - if getting your groove on is the goal - seems that these swingers house parties offer real value for money. Entry isn't restricted to the married sort. Couples of all kinds and singles of the straight or bi-sexual persuasion are welcome. However, stricter admittance rules and higher entry fees apply to the solo male. A discriminatory measure perhaps? An interesting point nonetheless.

Yet swingers clubs remain a much hushed, recreational-sex subculture, largely ignored by Brisbane society because most of us have our reservations as to the morality of the practice and fear of the stigma attached.

The thought of your partner bonking someone else even with your permission spells the beginning of the end to many of us in relationships because it raises all those difficult questions about fidelity and the strength of your commitment.

Is there greater trust demonstrated by a partner willing to let their better half explore their sexuality openly, confident that their love shall conquer all? Or is it foolish to think that sex with strangers comes with no strings attached?

Regardless of where you stand on this spectrum, if you're thinking about having a swing at the swingers' life, think carefully about your motivation. Honest communication and self awareness is the key and, for crying out loud, don't do anything you don't really want to do.

Neighbors complained to Holly Hill officials about parties in this leased house on Riverside Drive.

Matthew Early says he has been harassed and his personal rights infringed upon by neighbors who complained to City Hall that he illegally hosted swingers' parties in a leased house on Riverside Drive.

The issue could be settled Wednesday during a 2 p.m. hearing before Special Magistrate Charles Cino of Flagler County at City Hall.

After a Nov. 1 code citation for operating a business without a license, Early says he tried to cooperate by not collecting money from dozens of guests who came to his parties.

Some guests came via a Web site advertising Never Ending Bliss. Early says he removed any mention of money from the Web site, but on Dec. 15, a second cease-and-desist order stated that Early's intent was "to operate a private club."

Early says he now lives at the Riverside address with his partner, Nikki, and her children but only has a few friends over -- no large parties -- when the children are away. He is looking for a new location, he says.

"They say my whole intention was to run a business," Early says. "It's not. We don't charge at the door and they are house parties. The big thing is, they are calling us a club, but nobody pays dues. It's just semantics."

Early says he has done nothing wrong but "can name houses that have chess clubs and bridge clubs."

"There are houses in this neighborhood that run manufacturing businesses out of their homes, yet people are complaining about us," Early says. "People have the notion that everybody (at the parties) is naked and having orgies."

The Web site no longer advertises a club but has a message from Early saying ...
